The Lady Tigers faced Schuyler County in the Class 1 District 10 softball tournament Friday. Alexa Borgmeyer hit a 1st inning solo home run to put Brashear ahead 1-0, but Schuyler scored twice in the bottom of the 1st to lead 2-1. Brashear got additional scoring in the 3rd a fifth innings, including a Kynleigh White homer to take a 5-4 lead, but Schuyler scored single runs in the 6th and 7th innings to claim a 6-5 win. Sierra Snyder and Lana VanSickle had 2 hits each, Alexa Borgmeyer and Kynleigh White both homered, and Aubrey Borgmeyer, Lacey Fisher, and Haley McNamar also had hits. Alexa Borgmeyer got the start, striking out 16.
